Saturn in Aries: This is a big deal

Saturn moved into Aries yesterday. The last time we had this energy in town was 1999. I don’t know about you, but 1999 was a pretty big year for me.

It's going to be with us until the beginning of September 2025. Then it retrogrades back into Pisces for a little while, until it's firmly established back in Aries from February 14th, 2026, through April 2028.

Needing to understand how to ride these waves of change and transformation will be important. More than anything the phrase that I have in my head is growing…. for all of us. Growing up spiritually, growing up in our practice, growing up and maturing in our own lives, bringing maturity and wisdom rather than staying in repetitive patterns. If we're not careful, more infantile loops will sprout. Nobody wants to stay in an infantile loop and what I mean by an infantile loop is where you are just repeating patterns over and over again.

So we have Saturn in Aries that's coming in to really rip up the rule book, and present us with opportunities and pathways to new possibilities. But with that said, this Saturn influence is really going to try to help us see and learn what is best for us long term. The focus is growth, stability, steadiness, and soul nourishment.

Aquarians will definitely feel the impact of Saturn in Aquarius, but everyone will experience its "sting." It’s essential to consider whether this sting is meant to harm or to help you grow. If you have a Saturn return between now and 2028—like I will, experiencing my second return—it can bring significant shakeups. Saturn returns are always impactful, especially during Saturn’s transit in Aries.

Metatron advises us to embrace "anticipatory delight" instead of fear. Our souls are eager to explore new things and become the versions of ourselves we are meant to be, although we may need support along the way.

Aries is a dynamic fire sign, embodying fast, spontaneous, and adventurous energy. In contrast, Saturn represents wisdom, maturity, and structure. Together, they can create a powerful balance, where Aries's impulsiveness is tempered by Saturn's caution.

As a color therapist, I see the Aquarian Age symbolized by turquoise, representing flow, trust, and creativity. In contrast, Aries is linked to the color red, symbolizing energy and motivation but also caution. For those lacking drive, embracing red energy can provide the boost needed for the coming years.

Issues related to red energy—such as your relationships (including self-relationship), finances, health, and home—will be particularly prominent in this period.

MOVING FORWARD

Saturn will be in Aries until 2028, bringing significant changes reminiscent of 1999. Understanding this energy—where Aries' boldness meets Saturn's discipline—will help navigate potential blocks and unveil important lessons. The colors linked to these energies are Red (Aries, Root Chakra) and Violet (Saturn, Soul Star Chakra). Ascended Masters like Kali Ma, Jesus, and Archangel Metatron are here to support us. This period also sees a 'superhighway' of souls returning to familiar family groups, raising questions about Christ Consciousness and the meaning of “doing the work.” As we confront awakening resistance and duality, we also need to consider the impact on traditional religions and the environment.
