Spirituality Is A Way To Get Unf*cked And Unstuck
Spirituality, to me, is a path to get unstuck and find opportunity. Sure, some people succeed without it—great for them. That’s not my path, and if you’re here, it’s probably not yours either.
If you’re drawn to this website, it’s because the traditional route—school, degree, job, climb the corporate ladder—doesn’t cut it for you. It never did for me. Every time I shifted careers, it wasn’t random—it was because something deep inside said, this chapter’s done. And when my career shifted, so did everything else.
When I was in the tech world working as a Web Designer, I was M Wamzlee by day, trying to hold it together in a system that didn’t care about me or my family. We all knew that—we were united in that. But we were all stuck in it with no way out. When that ended, I jumped into random, part-time, positions to try to discover what truly lights me up. People questioned it: “What about your pension? Your security? I was miserable in the 9-5. Who cares about a future pension when I’m trying not to lose my mind today?
There was one career experience I enjoyed, and I poured my heart and soul into it for years. Then it ended traumatically. And I resisted it. And I argued with it for years. I took it very personally. Not realizing when it happened that it was a calling. And that it didn’t happen to me, it happened for me. The time was up.
I’ve learned over the years not to argue with these callings. When it’s time to move, I move. When my higher self says the time is up, I go. And it’s worked out for me every time. Sometimes I had to take bold leaps of faith with no clear plan, and it felt seriously fucking uncomfortable. But it always helped me pivot into better situations. Everytime.
The spiritual world is very fascinating to me. Once I integrated spirituality into my life, my world became colorful.
